Photos of the

Burial of Jason Cunningham

These photos were taken by pararaescueman B.J. Stephens. Copying of them or use of them for any purpose is prohibited without the express permission of the owner. The purpose of showing them on this site is to permit access to them to the many PJs who could not make it to the funeral.

The photos require no text to explain them. The look on each of the faces tells all that one needs to know.

The entire USAF Pararescue force expresses their sorrow to Jason's family. Jason is an American hero and besides our grief we are extremely proud that he died "So That Others May Live." We all wish it had not happened.

Code of the Air Rescue Man

It is my duty as a member of
the Air Rescue Service, to save
life and to aid the injured.
I will be prepared at all times
to perform my assigned duties
Quickly and efficiently, placing
these duties before personal
desires and comforts.
These things I do that others may live.
