Flight Manual Technical Orders (i.e. TO's)

 

This page will link you to parts of the flight manuals for the infamous Jolly Green Giants. An entire flight manual is hundreds of pages long. The H-3  manual was provided courtesy of Larry Wielgosz. Larry mailed me the entire manual but I only had time to scan the parts of the manual that I anticipated would be required for the second volume of "PJs in Vietnam." If anyone has a copy of this manual, and has the time to scan the rest of it, I would be pleased to post it here.

I was unable to locate an HH-53B flight manual. This would have been the version of the HH-53 that was flown at the end of the Vietnam War. However, Bob Baldwin (Vietnam era FE) was able to mail be a few pages of the HH-53C flight manual that is in current use. I converted these pages to pdf and have included them here. If anyone has access to a copy of the HH-53 (A, B, or C versions) flight manual, I urge you to scan as much of it as you can and forward it to me for use in both the next book and on this website. The same is true of the HH-43 flight manual

You can choose to download either small parts of the manuals at a time or large parts of them. If you are using a 56k modem, download the smaller files. if you have a high speed internet connection, download the larger files.
