21st SOS CH-3 with FE Jim Burns at NKP that had been hit by 37mm triple A (at around 10,000 ft.) one day when crossing the "trail". That's a captured 37mm round They flew without the rear ramps and this round hit where the rear ramp would have been and luckily blew outward. Who says inches don't count!! In 1995 the remains of the crew of Jolly Green 54 were finally buried at Arlington National Cemetery. JG 54 was downed in Vietnam. Following the ceremony, PJs and family members went to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and took this photo.
