The scope of research for my book resulted in my collecting mission reports from units to which PJs were assigned. PJs flew primarily with HU-16’s, HH-3’s and HH-53 units. Early in the war PJs flew with some HH-43 units.
Because PJs were not normally assigned to Pedro HH-43 units, Crown/King HC-54 & HC-130 units or 3rd Air Rescue Group headquarters, I did not collect many SAR mission reports from these units. These units were critical to the overall success of Air Rescue in the Vietnam War. Because most of the names on my site are from mission reports, I have few names from units that did not have PJs. As individuals provide me documented names, I will add them here.
I regret that financial and time constraints have prevented me from collecting the data that is available on these organizations.
