Airman First Class Timothy M. Reynolds distinguished himself by heroism while participating in aerial flight on 21 January 1969.  On that date, Airman Reynolds displayed outstanding aerial competence and courageous professionalism in the aggressive pursuance and acquisition of the assigned target.  The tenacity of this airman to attain the objective against formidable defenses is in accord with the highest of military standards.  The outstanding heroism and selfless devotion to duty displayed by Airman Reynolds reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
